The Return of Melody                                       

The year 2017 saw the refreshing return of the long eluding melody to malayalam film music, spearheaded by highly promising, gifted composers like Bijibal, Gopi Sundar etc. We got a good number of songs of this genre in 2017. Here is a sample. Singers : Hari Charan & Shwetha Mohan. Composer: Bijibal. Lyrics: Rafeeq Ahamed. Film : Oru Cinemaakkaran.  Incidentally, we have also seen lyrics taking a back seat.
